The Remington Model 700 CDL Classic Deluxe is a traditionally styled .30-06 Springfield bolt-action rifle built around the Model 700 action, a 24-inch carbon steel barrel, and a satin blued barreled action. Its satin-finished American walnut stock features a straight comb, right-handed cheek piece, finely cut checkering, black forend tip and grip cap, and sling swivel studs. A 4-round hinged floorplate magazine, two-position manual safety, jeweled bolt, recessed bolt face, integral extractor, and R3 recoil pad complete the practical hunting configuration.

UPDATE - I've come to...
UPDATE - I've come to the realization that this Remington was a bad purchase. Trigger sucks and can't be adjusted any lower. The barrel isn't free floated, so accuracy is gonna suck. I should've listened to others that told me not to order it. I'm gonna talk to Bud's about trading it for a Winchester. I'll never guy another Remington.

Got my CDL yesterday....
Got my CDL yesterday. Beautiful rifle! I looked it over carefully before final payment and paperwork, and I have no regrets. It's been wet and cold around here, so I'll have to wait for the range to dry out before I can drop the hammer on a few rounds. Ordered a new Leupold for it and can't wait to get it on and do some shooting. Thanks Bud's!

So the guns fit is...
So the guns fit is immaculate. Beautiful gun smooth action. The only concern I really have is that upon opening the box when I got home I was looking the rifle over better than I did at the FFL dealer I picked it up from. There's a little scuff in the wood behind the bolt by the safety. Not a big deal. But in the checkering on the right side of the rifle it's missing staining in the groove of the detail like it was missed completely. Very noticeable makes the gun look almost horrible. It's not the worst thing in the world. Not buds fault completely. They didn't stain it but the attention to detail wasn't there this time. I always shop through buds they have great products for a great price and very prompt about delivery. But the quality control dropped the ball this time around.
