After installing...
After installing 6-24x50 vortex scope and bipod this gun looks quite nice and ready for long range hunting or target. A tad heavy for hiking hunts but excellent for long range stationery hunting or targets. Feed good bullets to prevent burning out the barrel sooner than later. (300 rum is known for this) and give a cool down break after every 3-5 shots you will be golden. Thanks buds.

WOW, I think Remington...
WOW, I think Remington might have come back and got right on top. I used to be a critic of Remington, but this 300 rum LD made me an instant fan. Day one, during brake-in about 1/2 MOA with the first factory ammo I tried. The barrel is so easy to clean it appears hand lapped, unlike new brownings, savage and cheaper Weatherby's. The gun is amazing in EVERY feature. This gun should be 2 to 3 times the price. No idea why but even the recoil seemed low, pushing a 180 at 3200. A +++++++++++++++++
