Picked up this 243 for...
Picked up this 243 for my 14 year old son. Being a Remington Model 700 I knew it was a good buy but I didn't expect the accuracy that came with it. I put a 3X9X50 Vortex Scope on it. I was blown away with the grouping of 1/4 inch I was making. I had my son and my brother-in-law shoot it and it performed equally impressive. Needless to say my son had a grin from ear to ear. OUTSTANDING BUY!

The delivery of my order was not really prompt however Buds warned me of this when I placed my order, thank you Buds for the head's up! The product exceeded my expectations in a very good way! The accuracy of the Remington has exceeded what I normally see in a factory rifle by a healthy margin! The only change I made prior to testing was to adjust the trigger ( a bit more of that is needed)! Group size at 100 yards has been running in the 1/2 to 5/8 inch size with hunting bullets ( Barnes TSX, Nossler Accubond & Nossler Partition's). Can Hardley wait to introduce my new toy to some Ugly Wild Hogs! I have another copy of this rifle which does not have the 5R rifleing, the 5R is much superior!
