The upper is drilled and tapped for accessory use and includes a Picatinny rail while the rifle ships without factory sights.

I purchased this gun...
I purchased this gun from Buds and after having to wait a few weeks to shoot it due to weather. I am extremely pleased. It might not be a big head turner at the range as it is easily identifiable and everywhere sells em. But it sure does shoot nice and allows you to save 3 - 4 hundred dollars and still get a high quality AR. I paired it with a Nikon Coyote Special scope. I love it and would buy the Remington R-10 after my experience with this R-15.
