The Riley Defense RAK47 7.62x39mm is a semi-automatic, closed-bolt AK47-pattern rifle built with a fully heat-treated stamped receiver and a 16.25-inch 4150 nitride barrel. Finished in black oxide with polymer furniture, it’s configured with a MIL-SPEC upper and lower handguard set and a machined scope mount side rail for easy optics mounting.

Cheap and cheerful...
Cheap and cheerful RAK47. Fit and finish is great . Sights dead on, rivets bucked properly. Put 500 rounds down range without a problem. Seems that Riley has improved their product considerably compared to the first generation RAK47. My only complaint is my 30 rounds PMag was cracked when delivered to my FFL. No big deal it's only a $9 magazine.

This is my first ak...
This is my first ak and it is amazing. Very easy to use, minimal recoil, and easy to modify with one exception. The stock was very stuck into the body of the rifle and I had to have a gunsmith remove it to install the new stock. Even they said it was very difficult to remove. Overall, I would say this is one of the best budget aks available and I plan to buy more from them soon
