The Rock River Arms CAR A4 Left-Handed is a reliable semi-automatic rifle chambered for both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. It features a 16-inch chrome-moly steel barrel with an A2 flash hider, a carbine-length handguard, and a forged flat-top upper receiver that provides a solid mounting surface for a chosen optic. A two-stage RRA trigger supports deliberate shot control, while the six-position tactical carbine stock allows the length of pull to be adjusted for different users and shooting positions. This package includes one 30-round magazine and a protective case.

I hadn't handled an...
I hadn't handled an AR-15 style rifle in many years, and never a left-handed one. The Rock River Arms seems to be very well made, durable and extremely solid. I have not had the chance to fire it yet, but it was easy to disassemble and reassemble, even for a novice. Having all the fire controls on the "right" side is a tremendous boost. I have customized it with a red-dot for the primary sight and a pair of flip-up iron sights for the secondary. Everything snapped into place smartly. The magazine, emblazoned with the Rock River logo, is almost indistinguishable from the Mag Pul versions I picked up when the rifle arrived. I am very pleased and hope to take it out for a detailed shakedown shortly.
