A free-float Top Rail Octagonal handguard, Hogue pistol grip, fixed A2 stock, two-stage trigger, and winter trigger guard complete the practical varmint and precision-rifle configuration.

This is my second Rock...
This is my second Rock River LAR-15 purchased from Bud's. The first was the 24 inch Varmint model which shoots a terrific group using Fiocchi factory ammo. This latest acquisition is the same platform but with the shorter 16 inch barrel. First time at the range using the same Fiocchi factory ammo my groups at 100 yards were just as tight as the 24 inch model. Cannot wait to work up some handloads for both rifles. Really happy with both rifles. The price on the 16 inch model was an outstanding deal. Thanks Bud!
