The Rock River Arms LAR-458 Mid-Length A4 Operator is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .458 SOCOM and built on the AR-15 platform. It features a forged A4 upper receiver, a 16-inch chrome moly steel bull barrel with a 1:14 twist, and a mid-length gas system. A Smith Vortex flash hider is installed at the muzzle, while the fixed RRA Operator CAR stock and Hogue rubber grip provide a stable, comfortable shooting setup. The rifle includes a two-stage trigger and a varmint gas block with an integrated sight rail. With no factory sights or optic included, the rail provides an optics-ready foundation for a user-selected aiming system.

Truly a "Beast"....
Truly a "Beast". Devastating ballistically. I read all of the coments online about heavy kick especially with heavier loads. BS is all I have to say. I even handed it to my father to let him verify. Recoil is very manageable and far from the stout 45-70 out of my Henry and Marlin. 150 yards is the effective range with bullet drop increasing exponentially from there. Great dangerous game gun for North America. I have a vortex optic with 45º iron sights for backup. Held up to the shock no problem. I love it...
