The Rock River Arms LAR is a semi-automatic AR-style rifle chambered for .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. Its 16-inch chrome moly barrel has 1/2x28 muzzle threads and is fitted with an A2 flash hider. The adjustable gas piston system uses an over-the-barrel spring and guide rod arrangement, eliminating the conventional AR-style recoil system and allowing the rifle to use a side-folding stock adapter. A six-position black CAR stock provides configuration flexibility, while the full-length top rail and carbine-length aluminum tri-rail handguard accommodate optics and accessories. The rifle also includes a folding, non-reciprocating ambidextrous charging handle and Rock River Arms two-stage trigger.
