A: Are there any options like a Tommy gun...hmm. Do you mean converting to a Thompson? If so, check out this website called 1022fungun.com. They have some modification options for a Ruger 10/22. To me it is expensive for the parts but will cost less than the Standard Manufacturing model. Plus the reliability of a 10/22 is great. Thank you.

A: Tim, I would check available parts kits at (1022fungun.com) but I would check in the "For Sale" sections for parts or the complete rifle at large gun sites like (6)un Broker, (6)uns America and Armslist as hard to find firearms and accessories show up for sale by private individuals and small shops. Just replace (6) with G.

A: All these come from the factory, so if you're able to find one with a "straight" magazine then ok. But Buds will not alter any firearm. They are sold as is. Buds will not remove any portions of the firearm nor will they add any portions to the firearm. I'm not sure what you mean by thumbnail. A: Joe, Great design ideas, but rotary magazine is only option. They have magazines that hold up to 50 rounds. Butler Creek is a good option.

A: You have the option to buy longer, curved, (25 plus) mags, however they all fit in the mag well the same way as the short ten round mags.

A: Just buy Ruger factory mags and you'll be fine. You can get 15 round mags and 25 round mags. Butler Creek makes some also, but Ruger's are more reliable.

A: The main differences are simply the aesthetics/looks of the rifle. The 1022 action is the same. My deluxe is basically the same as my standard. There are others that have heavy barrels and stuff. Just mean for different purpose. Ruger quality is top notch.
