The Ruger 10/22 Collector 2nd Edition is a limited-edition rimfire rifle built on the proven 10/22 platform. Its cold hammer-forged barrel is secured with Ruger’s two-screw V-block system, while the Modular Stock System provides a low comb and standard length of pull module. A ghost ring adjustable rear aperture and protected, non-glare front blade deliver a Scout Rifle-style sighting setup. The included Picatinny rail supports the addition of an optic, and the detachable 10-round rotary magazine provides reliable feeding. Collector-focused extras include special bolt marking, a Collector’s Series street sign, a ShopRuger.com gift certificate, an “A Father’s Advice” mini-poster, and a Collector’s Series pin.

This rifle is superb!...
This rifle is superb! I love almost everything about it especially the ar-15 style sights and picatinny rail. last round hold open would be nice as well as a better bolt release but i love everything else about it so much that i can easily overlook these two minor gripes. Feels solid shoots like a dream and is spot dead on at 50 yards. the fit and finish is splendid. I passed on the 10/22 a few years ago because the synthetic stock felt cheap and flimsy in my hands but they nailed it on this one! had to have it! its my new favorite. GET ONE!

Just got this rifle,...
Just got this rifle, and out of the box seems to be very great quality. the peep sights are awesome. A blast to shoot. Got it home and had put about 500 rounds through it. Then had a couple of problems. The rear sight became fairly loose. and also the bolt that holds the action and barrel to the stock was very loose. No big deal, tightened them up and functions flawlessly. I had mounted a Nikko-Sterrling target scope 4x32 on it, and will reach out to 100yds no problem, knocked the red out of a target, 1-1.5in grouping. With sub-par ammo remington thunderbolts. Put some CCI mini mags in it and accuracy improved a lot better due to more consistent ammo. All in all the rifle is a very good buy. Nice that its a collectors edition and comes with the plate, letters and other stuff. Buds was pretty good on the shipping and took very great care of the rifle.
