A: Lots of confusion on this one. There is apparently another model, with a different UPC, that is being advertised with the two different angle brackets for the attachment of the stock, and then there is the stock itself being sold as a separate item that advertises two different attachment brackets. This particular model as Randy stated,seems to have been discontinued., looking at Ruger's web site. I will say, this is the best price I found anywhere on either of the two different rifle models. And, looking at some other Ruger 10/22 models, this stock angle doesn't really seem to be extreme actually. I'd be tempted to buy this one, just because of the good price. The stock alone runs $80 - $100. But to be certain, it might be a good idea to call Ruger and get verification of just exactly what this one is.
