It's a 1022 you can...
It's a 1022 you can fit in a backpack! Whats not to like? Flawless operation so far although (I'm under 200 rounds) but it's a Ruger; so any problem you just send it to them to fix for free for life. This package is very practical. A Breakdown and reassembly cycle(both) can be completed can be completed in under 10 second. Fiber sights provide quick acquisition and mine were dead on out of the box. It is a feather at 4.2lbs Comes with... -A scope rail which if correctly mounted to the receiver would maintain zero despite breakdown, -2 comb pieces for better fit whether using iorns or optics -(4) 10 round Mags (3 of which pack neatly under the comb piece) -Threaded barrel for a suppressor (if you live in a "relatively-free" state and don't mind the absurd level of compliance required just to protect your hearing and the tranquility of the environment around you). -And Of course it comes with the manual/lock package. - I'm sure I omitted something so check... https://ruger.com/products/1022Takedown/specSheets/31152.html My only qualm would be the bolt doesn't lock back on empty and doing so manually is a bit of an odd motion. Although once you figure out to depress the bolt lock while cycling to lock it, it is cake. If you're on the fence, I say Do it. Its a No-brainer as a survival tool you should keep in your pack or truck. And if you don't pull the trigger, You may live to wish that you had.
