Great gun, fun to...
Great gun, fun to shoot. 3rd 10/22 I've owned, but 1st takedown. The takedown is great for a toolbox or boat gun. Stick with the iron sights, a scope may not hold zero between takedowns.

The stock is just too...
The stock is just too short for me, I'm 6'4" with long simian like arms and it's just uncomfortable, it might work better for a person with more normal proportions. Mediocre reliability, not for defending yourself with, it's not reliable enough but it's acceptable for target shooting at the range.
