A: Gregory - with the rotary magazine ... It would be one heck of a chore. It isn't mentioned anywhere in Ruger's literature that I could find, so I'm thinking it is not recommended by the manufacturer. Get yourself an extra mag, to have readily available anytime you're out using the rifle.
