Recently purchased this rifle from Buds- to primarily use at a local 200 yard range. I am extremely pleased with the quality and performance using a variety of factory ammo. It is very accurate out to the 200 yard limit of my range. Very fun to shoot using a front rest or bipod. Little recoil. A great range rifle. Will use it for hunting small to medium game.at some time in the future. Purchasing from Buds was straight forward, although I used my checking account to get a discount and that added about 6 days to the process- which was frustrating . If I purchase from them again I won't worry with getting a discount if I'm in a hurry.

I really love this...
I really love this rifle. I've wanted a bolt action rifle that uses relatively inexpensive ammo for plinking at the range but also allows me to step up the grade of the ammo and head out to put some meat in the freezer. The bolt is silky smooth when chambering or ejecting a round. Love the 70° throw of the bolt - keeps it away from the optic. Quality is impressive for such a reasonably priced rifle. I had some reservation about buying the rifle because of a previous issue with Ruger which was eventually resolved. Highly recommended.
