Excelent trigger,...
Excelent trigger, weight and presicion.. But when I attempt to chamber a new round using the bolt, the cartridge frequently gets stuck and does not feed properly. I often have to try multiple times before the round finally chambers. Upon closer observation, it appears that the bullet tip is not aligning correctly with the feed ramp. Instead of smoothly riding up the ramp into the chamber, the tip is striking an area of the chamber face outside of the intended feed ramp. This results in inconsistent and unreliable feeding, which is concerning for a new firearm.

Buds did a great job...
Buds did a great job as usual, but this Ruger has some feeding issues with two of the three ammo brands that I shot. The Remington Core-Lokt, 140 Grain and Winchester Power Point, 129 grain would not feed at all. It seems like the bullets are getting stuck on the feeding ramp. The Hornady American Whitetail, 129 Grain Hornady Interlock Jacketed Soft Point feed perfectly. Ruger is sending me one of their magazines to try in place of the Magpul. The Hornady has a sharper nose and maybe that's helping the bullets to feed. It's a shame because the gun groups beautifully.
