A: Jeremy, 26972 has the A1 magazine and 6972 has flush mounted rotary magazines otherwise identical. May choose matte black or moss green from Ruger. Looks like BUDs has Moss Green.

A: different magazines 6972 uses the flush mounted Rotary mag the 26972 uses a box mag (A1) also the 6972 is out of production and was replaced by the 26972

A: Jeremy, the only difference is the 26972 uses a thicker magazine base plate to eliminate magazine flex. The 26972 is in fact a slightly revised version of the 6972.
