It's quality because...
It's quality because it's Ruger but this is the 2nd Ruger I've gotten from Buds with some minor cosmetic issues. The last was a 10/22 with a laminate stock with the coloring a little distorted. I vowed then I would only purchase wooden stock guns in person. This being a synthetic stock, I thought there would be no reason to worry. The camo is apparently a wrap or a dip and is peeling from the trigger guard. Not a huge deal but something I would have noticed in a store for sure. Secondly, a Ruger issue, the muzzle brake is almost 45 degrees off from center. Another thing I would have passed on if it was on a store shelf. I buy a lot of Rugers and I half suspect the ones from Bud's to be a discounted 2nd. I'll be getting my local gunsmith to center and shim the brake for me.
