The Ruger American Ranch Rifle Gen II in .450 Bushmaster combines a compact bolt-action design with practical features for hunting and field use. Its 16.1-inch cold hammer-forged barrel uses an 11/16x24 thread pattern and comes equipped with a factory-installed Ruger Hybrid Muzzle Brake. A three-position tang safety allows the rifle to be loaded with the bolt locked, while the Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger provides a crisp release with a user-adjustable pull weight from 3 to 5 pounds. The synthetic splatter-finished stock offers a secure grip, and the progressive-collapse recoil pad helps reduce felt recoil. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base provides a stable mounting platform for a riflescope.

Excellent value and...
Excellent value and excellent fit and finish! Only fired 3 rounds so far but sighted in with a Primary arms lpvo in 2 shots and fired the 3rd to confirm. Bolt is smooth, trigger is nice but a little crunchy but I think will smooth out with use, gun is tight all over with no rattles. Very light and well made, very very loud though and a super cool ball of fire from muzzle. Now that I have fired I would buy at twice the price. Buds always exceptional!
