This is my first 400...
This is my first 400 legend. As a brand new shooter, I was truly impressed. I feel like I really got my moneys worth. Never shot a 350 legend, so I can't tell you how they differ in kick. However, the 400L is probably too much kick for an average size 11 year old. Out of the box this Ruger is light, but once you add the weight of a scope, it feels just right. For my build, the stock was about an inch too long, but I'll adapt. I give the rifle a two thumbs up. Thanks, Mike M. 8may2025
