The Ruger American Rimfire is a lightweight bolt-action rifle chambered in .17 HMR and built for precise, convenient rimfire shooting. Its OD Green synthetic composite stock features sling swivel studs and a 13.75-inch length of pull for comfortable handling. The free-floated, hammer-forged barrel has a target crown, precise rifling, a durable blued finish, and 1/2x28 threads for compatible muzzle accessories. A Ruger Marksman Adjustable Trigger allows the pull weight to be set between 3 and 5 pounds, while the 10/22-style extended magazine release makes magazine changes smooth and easy. The rifle accepts a 9-round rotary magazine and has a tang-mounted manual safety.

Iv owned this gun...
Iv owned this gun going on over a year and I have shot probably close to a couple 100 rounds and I love it . This gun is legit accurate and I paired it with a Vortex crossfire 2 3x9x40 and made a awesome set up . This is my go to gun for just playing around plinking and I have taking several ground hogs and armadillos each being around 40 yards and the 17hmr is no joke it putts them down one shot no issues and I love the actual trigger design and trigger pull in this gun and the over all finish and build was worth every penny I can't say enough good about it and buds add was exactly as described and order went through no issues and arrived fast buds is always my go to!
