The Ruger AR-556 8513 is a semi-automatic modern sporting rifle built around a rugged M4-style platform. Its forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers, direct-impingement operating system, and cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel provide dependable performance and straightforward maintenance. The 16.1-inch barrel is chambered for both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO, features a 1:8 twist, and includes a threaded muzzle for compatible muzzle devices. A flat-top upper receiver allows the rifle to accommodate a wide range of optics and accessories, while the Ruger Rapid Deploy folding rear sight and F-height front post provide standard sighting capability. The fixed A2 stock, Monster Man grip, enlarged trigger guard, and improved trigger-reach grip support comfortable handling. One 10-round magazine is included.
