A: Jacob, you shouldn't have any trouble swapping for that rail. The rifle has a low profile gas block so that shouldn't get in the way and the new handguard should install much the same way as the existing free float handguard.

Just be aware that installing the Monstrum will require installing their barrel nut - which meas you will have to have a torque wrench to re-torque your barrel nut after installation and the new barrel nut will have to be 'timed' to align the holes for the gas tube. If you have the tools and some experience you can do it but if not you will need to enlist the help of a friend who has the experience and proper tools, or a professional gunsmith, to do the install for you. .

However, should it have more 'play' than you prefer, there is a little device called 'accuwedge' one can buy and use that virtually eliminates any 'play' at all.
