I have always wanted a...
I have always wanted a 257 Roberts and Buds had a new Ruger for sale . So I bought it and service from Buds was great and I really liked the fast shipping. When I got the gun home I mounted a scope and took it to the range . I was very impressed after the break in period I was able to hold under a inch groups at a 100 yards and the smallest one of the afternoon was 5/8 of inch. I cant wait to get back out.

Ruger is bringing sexy...
Ruger is bringing sexy back with the bluing on this one. Real bluing not some mat finish or cerakote. The wood is something else too. I love the color and how that red butt pad looks on the gun. The bolt is smooth. I topped it with the Ruger rings and a Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40. Can't wait to get out and shoot it

This is my second...
This is my second Ruger M77 Hawkeye. I cannot say enough about the build quality of this rifle. It is incredible. The action is strong, and the fit and finish is amazing. Great wood and beautiful bluing. I have yet to shoot it because the weather here in Alabama in still on the warm side, but I have all of my components ready to start reloading for hunting season. They .257 Roberts is a wonderful deer cartridge. It is devastating on whitetails with little recoil. I am going to load the 100 gr. Barnes TSX this year, in addition to the Speer 100 gr Hot Cor. Looking forward to many good times. If you are in the market for a beautiful wood-stocked hunting rifle, look no further.
