This Ruger 77 carbine...
This Ruger 77 carbine is awesome: small, (but not light), shoots tight groups at 100 yrds; is beautiful and just oozes quality ! It's a pleasure to just hold it and look at its classic beauty.\\r\ The Mauser type action performs flawlessly; put a Leupold 1.5 - 4 Freedom scope with hog-plex recticle on to make it super fast on target ( for 100 yrd. varmints ) and using Nosler\\r\ Varmaggedon 62 gr hollow points, crows don't just drop over, as with Hornady, they actually explode ! Most of my shots here in Ohio, are 100 yards or less, so perfect.\\r\ At 200 yrds, bullet drop is about 3 1/2 inches and the reticles a bit too fat for precise shooting - so I leave the longer shots for my CZ 243 with Burris Veracity 2-10 power, making a very dynamic duo of rifles.\\r\ Buds is always pleasant to deal with, compared to the morons at Cabelas, so it's worth the drive down from Cincinnati.\\r\ Thanks for being there Buds
