A: Nickolas - just as the title says, it is a .223/5.56. The actual chambering is 5.56 NATO. As ,.223 is a slightly lesser-powered version (for all intents and purposes, the same dimensions) one can shoot .223 in ANY firearm chambered for 5.56. These rifles are some nice rifles, Nicholas. Check out the reviews - you'll find many very good ones. The endorsement of "Gunsite" - a fine firearms training academy - did not come easy, I'm sure.
