The rifle uses a removable 9-round magazine, a 54-degree short-throw lever, and a cross-bolt manual safety. Its hardwood stock, carbine-style barrel band, and curved Western-style carbine buttplate provide classic handling, while the standard tip-off scope mount base allows the addition of a compatible rimfire optic.
