Description
Product Overview
The Ruger Precision Rifle in .338 Lapua combines a competition-inspired bolt-action design with the strength and precision required for long-range shooting. Its cold hammer-forged 26-inch barrel is free-floated within an 18-inch M-LOK handguard, while the Ruger Magnum muzzle brake helps reduce felt recoil. A 30 MOA Picatinny rail provides a solid mounting point for a long-range optic. The one-piece, three-lug bolt uses a 70-degree throw, full-diameter bolt body, and dual cocking cams for smooth operation and generous scope clearance. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger can be set between 3 and 5 pounds, and the ergonomic synthetic stock includes a soft rubber buttpad for improved handling and recoil control.

I LOVE THIS THING!...
I LOVE THIS THING! Even though it's a .338 bolt gun, the recoil was very manageable. I put 20 rounds through it the first time I shot it. It performed flawlessly. I also have an RPR in .308. Due to the very nice hefty muzzle brake on this firearm, recoil honestly wasn't bad. There are so many adjustments you can do on this that it makes it very comfortable for each individual. Adjustments are easy to do. It's easy to clean. It was well made and performed flawlessly! I sighted in @ 200 yards. My last 10 rounds at 200 yards was about 2" group. I was using Norma Golden Target 250gr rounds. I did add the following: Bipod, Optics, and extended mag release. The ONLY down side to owning this firearm is the cost of commercial ammo. It's costing me about $4 per round. Once I've collected enough brass, I'll do my own handloads but will still be about $2 per round. Nice firearm!
