Have not shot it yet. It is very nice rifle. I do not understand the why this rifle sells for around $800. It should sell for less. The 7.62 x 39 version is in the $5s now. The close to $300 dollar difference gets you a 308 the furniture is the same for the most part. Even though the price seems steep in comparison to the other Saigas it is still hard to beat in comparison to other platforms. It is a true Kalashnikov it comes from the same factory that Mr K himself worked.

I have owned my Saiga...
I have owned my Saiga .308 for almost 3 years. I put a Leupold VX-II 3x9 50mm on it. The gun is very accurate and easy to shoot. Took my my first deer with it a few weeks ago. One shot to the heart with a Winchester Super-X 150 grain and the buck was dead almost instantly. He dropped right in his tracks. The Saiga .308 is a keeper!
