For the price this Saiga 223rRemington/ 556x45 Nato is an extraordinary carbine.I was not very surprise at the range for the excellent result that I had, since I had in the past Russian weapons and are very good in quality.This Saiga is simple,smooth,light and affordable in price,witch in today's market is an advantage for the consumer pocket.For practice or small or medium game this carbine is an excellent choice.In the end, I take my hat off for this rifle.

This is my first AK...
This is my first AK style rifle. I was looking at purchasing a Min14 when I found this and I'm glad I got the Saiga, instead. Looks great, feels good. It is heavier than I imagined but that's not a big deal for me. Might be for others. Shoots great- ran 100 rounds of 5.56mm NATO and .223 rem through it without a hitch- both steel and brass cases. With 556 ammo this thing shoots fireballs and is LOUD. Lots of fun. FYI this rifle can safely shoot both .223 and 5.56mm ammo despite being labeled .223, according to the manufacturer. Plan to put a red dot and convert this back to AK form. OVerall a really good rifle for the money, especially if you want a .223 semi-auto and want something other than an AR15. Would def recommend and am happy with the purchase. Buds was great, only took 16 days to ship the rifle. 5 stars.
