Buds was 240 bucks...
Buds was 240 bucks cheaper than ALL other on line retailers for this rifle. BIG reason. I researched the Sauer 100 and All reviews were stellar. I received the rifle within a few days. I cleaned the bore immediately , did not need to. Clean bore and obviously well polished. The action is smooth but be aware don't be gentle pushing the bolt forward and turning down. I don't want to say stiff because that would imply poor quality for most, it is SO not. Just sighted it in at 100 with Norma 150 Whitetail, sub moa three round groups without trying too hard. 6.7 lbs bare, rifle, a 2. something lb factory set trigger, CRISP trigger not a two stage. Balances wonderfully in the hand, will probably add a slight riser; cohesive bandage wrap from Dollar tree and a piece of one of those annoying foam noodles , again from dollar tree. I like to really have a perfect cheek weld, like trying to push my cheek thru the stock for a firm locked in cheek weld for accuracy. I have a Tikka, a Sig SHR970, Rem 700's, Marlin XL7, Mossberg Patriot synthetic in 375 Ruger; sub moa factory ammo guys. This Rifle reminds me of the Sig and Tikka very much so. Very Very happy. Waiting on the Sauer 100 in 9.3x62 to become available!

The rifle arrived on...
The rifle arrived on time and in good order. I could not wait to fire it. I scoped it, bore sighted the scope and headed to my local indoor range. To my surprise, it would not fire correctly. Only one of 4 rounds would fire. I cycled five brands of ammo through it. My gunsmith was actually the range master that day. Called Sauerthe following Monday. The agent I spoke with basically accused me of: 1. Not knowing what I was doing. 2. Not trying to use different brands. 3. Not being qualified to call it I operative. After I basically argued and informed him that my gunsmith witnessed the whole thing, he accused me of letting the GS work on the rifle and harming it. I finally convinced him to do a warranty case. It took three months. The factory Smith said "we have been having this issue" and replaced the bolt. It still will not shoot a 1moa group at 100yds.
