The Sauer S 101 Classic is a precision-oriented bolt-action rifle chambered in .270 Winchester. Its oil-finished walnut Ergo Max ambidextrous stock uses a reverse comb to support consistent eye alignment behind a mounted scope while helping manage recoil. The Dura Safe system places the manual safety on the bolt sleeve and allows the bolt to be opened while the safety remains engaged. A tension-free Heat Lock barrel connection, Ever Rest bedding system, and robust locking lugs support reliable accuracy. The rifle also features a smooth bolt throw, quiet cycling, and a wide, crisp trigger with an approximately 2-pound pull.
