Product Overview
The Sauer S 101 Classic XT is a refined bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser. Its Ergo Max polymer stock features a soft-touch coating and soft rubber recoil pad for a secure, comfortable hold in demanding field conditions. The Dura Safe system places a direct firing pin safety in an ergonomic bolt-sleeve lever and allows the bolt to be opened while the rifle remains on safe. A crisp two-pound trigger, silky-smooth bolt operation, massive locking lugs, and Sauer’s Heat Lock and Ever Rest bedding systems support consistent handling and accuracy. The rifle accepts Remington 700 long-action scope bases for flexible optic mounting.
