Purchased the model 10...
Purchased the model 10 Precision Carbine in .308 about a year ago from Bud's. I was about to post a review for the .223 I recently purchased, when I realized I'd not reviewed my 'older' .308. For the price and performance of the 10PC in .308 I could not be happier. Using for punching paper and steel targets from 100 to 600 yards I could not be happier. I have a Millett TRS-2 10X50 mil/mil tube on a DNZ Deadnuts 1-piece base mounted on the rifle and am very happy with the groups I get, both from bulk 147gr FMJBTs, factory 'target' ammo, as well as some hand-loads I've played about with. Groups very, very well, cold or warm and the factory trigger is just excellent for a recreational shooter. I've enjoyed my 10PC in .308 so much, I decided to pick up another one in .223 (review to follow soon). If you are looking for a carbine-length target gun, with great bang for the buck, this is a swell choice. Bud's is great as always.
