Really good gun very...
Really good gun very light. Shoots less than 1 inch MOA with factory Nosler and Hornady. Working up some hand loads to see if I can get below 0.5 inch MOA. Only negative is that it should have come with a muzzle brake. It kicks like a mule. I have a an ultradyne apollo max on order which should solve the recoil issue.

Savage makes a heck of...
Savage makes a heck of a accurate rifle.My first accuracy test turned out a .348 group,second load I tried was .748.Very comfortable to shoot considering how light it is.Bolt was a little rough,but quickly smoothed out.Overall I'm extremely pleased with this rifle.

I have mixed feelings...
I have mixed feelings about this rifle. The stock is completely garbage, if you want any kind of accuracy plan on replacing or modifying it. THE STOCK DOES NOT HAVE A BEDDING BLOCK!!! The rifle is mounted directly to plastic. Also, my scope base screws were not mounted strait with the action. After an insane amount of headache and finding a scope mount to compensate for it I think I have it fixed. I have a Burris veracity on mine. It had 5 MOA of adjustment on windage one way and 35 MOA of adjustment the other. Gives you an idea how out of square things are. All of that being said, I did take a nice deer with it at 540 yards. It's a love and hate relationship. I love how light it is, but quality control sucks. If I had it to do over again I would buy a different rifle or build a custom one. Wish the barrel was 24" instead of 22" on the 280 Ackley. Trigger is fine. For the price, you would expect a better quality rifle. I've contacted customer service at Savage and they've been less than helpful. You really are paying for the barrel. The bolt feels gritty and cheap, although it is lightweight. I wouldn't tell you don't get one, but if you do hopefully this will help you know what you are getting.
