The Savage Ultralite...
The Savage Ultralite is just what I have been looking for, at 7.2 pounds with scope and loaded mag.This was my Birthday present, now being 80 years old I find the the weight of this gun is perfect for carrying while on a long day of hunting. Accuracy is sub MOA, out to 800 yards, haven't had a chance to shoot it any further than that yet. I now am the owner of 3 Savage Ultralites. I thank you Bud Gun Shop for the great service that I received while making my purchase.

This is a nice looking...
This is a nice looking Savage. Proof barrel is beautiful. Weighed the rifle and was 6lb 7oz. Light for sure. Spiraled bolt seems a little rough running in the receiver and bolt release lever doesn't seem to push the retaining stop low enough to release bolt easily. Bolt comes out but have to wrestle with it for a while. 8-40 screws are new to Savage 110 rifles and DNZ one piece mount with off set rings not very easy to find. Over all I'll have to see what range results provide. Haven't gotten a scope mounted yet so haven't shot it. Bud's as usual a good place to deal with.
