The Savage Arms 110 Ultralite Camo .308 Win bolt action rifle is built for mountain hunting where staying light matters. This Ultralite uses a PROOF Research carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel and a melonite-finished, skeletonized receiver to help keep the rifle at 6 pounds and under while holding factory-accurate performance. The KUIU Verde 2.0 camo AccuFit stock supports an optimized fit with adjustable comb height and length of pull, and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger provides a clean, crisp break for confident shot placement. A threaded 5/8-24 muzzle with a flush-fit cap completes the setup for hunters who plan their setup around a suppressor or brake.

This rifle is very...
This rifle is very light but still balances well and points naturally. Stable shooting from bags and shooting sticks despite the light weight. Out of the box this rifle shot .8 MOA with 165gr SSTs. You can't go wrong with this rifle in 308!

My first impression is...
My first impression is that I really like this rifle. It seems well put together and accuracy was moa with some Federal match ammo that I managed to track down. I generally find that I can improve on that with some hand loads. The action was a little rough out of the box but seems to be smoother after some action grease and working it a bit. The weight was a couple ounces over claimed but not a big deal. With a couple of spacers added to the accustock, Talley light weight rings, Leupold VX 3i 4.5 -14 X 40 and sling weighs only 7 lbs 7 oz. It's like getting a custom rifle with a quality barrel at about a third of the price.
