Excellent, No second guessing, lightweight and extremely powerful long range shooter, (well, long enough)\r It is so gratifying packing this Savage 116 .300 WM knowing that I have made the right purchase,\r Buy buy overpriced, big and clunky long range rifles, yeah, yeah there are better built high quality rifles out there, you know the one's, \r but for a fraction of the price and weight as well, this Savage 116 .300 WM along with the right ammo is literally unstoppable in the right hands, \r even with the optics that is offered with this rifle and with practice and persistence you can dial in on near perfection, not over extending the limits of reality mind you,\r And with that said... I'm inwardly laughing at all the rest !!!

Another great expereience from Buds. Easy layaway, fast shipping and at a better price than I could find local too. The Savage 116 is a great shooting rifle. Nice fit and finish, adjustable trigger, just a nice set up. The Nikon scope is nice and the bore sight from the factory had it on paper from the first shot so it wasn't bad to zero in and that's nice as 300 win mag ain't cheap to shoot so the fewer wasted the better.
