My rifle came as...
My rifle came as expected, good service from Bud's. Just remember if paying by check remember it will take all five business days before they ship your rifle. The Savage 16 lwh hunter was as expected for the most part. It had a very good trigger, I liked the stock and barrel. The weight and feel of the rifle was really good. However, my rifle had a missing rear trigger guard screw, which needless to say is indicative of spotty quality control. I believe it will be a good rifle and the rough action will smooth up over time, however, as far as quality, it is no where close in quality to the couple of Tikka rifles I have purchased. As long as Savage customer service sends me the screw promptly, I can overlook this issue. As long as I get decent accuracy with hand loads. Time will tell.
