This was my third gun...
This was my third gun purchase from Bud's. Everything went smoothly from order to receipt at my FFL. I'm a fan of Savage firearms so I was excited to get my new 243 for coyote hunting this year. Went to the range a few days after the gun arrived and was pleased with its performance. Took three shots to get on the bullseye. I own a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 that I have on another rifle and was expecting the same scope as part of this package. Although it is a 3x9x40 Nikon, it's not a Prostaff model but a scope specifically made for this package deal. Still a good scope although a little lesser in quality that my Prostaff. Overall very pleased with the rifle and scope package at a very reasonable price. This weekend will be my first trip to the woods with the Savage and I hope I can get a coyote called in.
