I wanted to love this...
I wanted to love this gun. But I can't. The gun does not reject and each time the bolt must be hammered to get the spent casing out. I polished the chamber hoping that would help but made no difference. I sent savage an email about it and they just responded two months later. Had my gunsmith look at it and he is saying most likely the throat needs to be taken down 1/1000th of an inch or so. So I try calling savage and I can't even get a hold of anyone. This poor review is more a reflection of savages customer service and that they would ship a gun that isn't even usable then the gun itself.
