The first thing I...
The first thing I would like to address is that when I received the gun, the internals weren't clean. The gun had been shot before. I am not sure if this was a test gun or what but it was not "New". This is the second time I have encountered this. My first was with a Taurus 605B .38 Special/.357 Magnum. I wasn't thrilled about that but it wasn't a major turnoff. \\r\ \\r\ Before I even shot it, I unscrewed the Accu-Stock and cheekrest and replaced the cheekrest with the taller one that it comes with (comes with different height options) and shortened the stock a notch (comes with different length options) to fit my style. The magazine is loose. It is the only piece of the gun that feels on the cheaper side. Other than that, everything is heavy and well-built so far. I put my bipod on and my Pulsar Trail XQ38. I am using this gun for hogs at 100 yards roughly. I am not even going to review the accuracy because I don't believe you can measure accuracy as well through a thermal scope and I was also using some cheap Monarch 450 grain, steel casings. At 100 yards I was shooting a 6" x 6" tin foil square (because thermal scope) and got all of the shots to stay within that square. If any of you have used thermal at that range, you can understand that the crosshairs are literally covering that target at that range! It is enough for me to peelay some hogs at that range and that is all I need. Once I put a long range scope on there, we'll be writing a different story.
