Fantastic rifle! I did...
Fantastic rifle! I did have an initial problem with the magazine in which the bolt wouldn't catch the last round in the magazine. I shipped the magazine back to Savage Arms and they sent me a new one within a week. Excellent customer service and I would definitely consider purchasing another Savage rifle. One problem with the advertising of this firearm is that it states 4+1 for the magazine capacity. There is no way four rounds can fit in this magazine. This is a 3+1 rifle. I've been out to the range and have shot 2" diameter holes at 100 yards using crappy steel rounds. I'm certain it shoots even better with the more expensive ballistics. One more thing is the accu-trigger (sp) is great. You can adjust the trigger pull to be really light or more stiff. I would definitely recommend this rifle. Nice job Savage Arms and Buds for an easy transaction.

The Savage 11FCNS are great rifles. This caliber (762x39) is better than the buzz it gets: light recoil, less bang, plenty accurate to 150yds in this gun w/zoom scope, easy reloads. Walmart even carries TulAmmo now! My 1st AcuTrigger - amazing. Fix these 2 beefs & it's 5-star: no wood (these synth guns are ugly), and you will not get 4 cartridges into the mag. Savage says 4+1, not happening, it's 3+1, and expect to pay a ton for a 2nd mag (like $55 - ouch). It's very accurate, good size/wt, comfortable to grip & shoot, smooth bolt.
