I have been to the...
I have been to the range twice with this gun and I will tell you that it is a blast to shoot. It has taken some time to "shoot in" but after the two sessions at the range I can tell that this Savage is going to be a tack-driver. This is my first truly left-handed firearm and I love it! Fit and finish on the gun is good, and functionality has been superb. Everything about ordering/purchasing through Bud's Gun Shop went extremely well, I'm sure it won't be my last purchase.

WOW!!!! What can I...
WOW!!!! What can I say? This is everything that I hoped it would be. The fit and finish of the thumb hole stock is excellent, the stainless steel metal finish is great as well. Now down to the good stuff, in the box were Savage's instruction booklet, which contains a very true statement, " this rifle prefers 20 grain ammo". That my friend is a very true statement. It shoots all bullets well but really shines with the CCI 20grain. Almost one jagged hole, it would be if I could hold better. The trigger is awesome, you never feel any drag, just a little pressure and Boom, you've hit the bullseye. I liked the rifle so well I purchased an identical.22 and it's just as good. If your looking for a rifle that won't break the bank and is fun to shoot, I highly recommend these Savage target style rifles.
