This rifle is one of the most fun rifles I own. And the trigger is very well made for a gun of this price. I mounted a Burris 4x12 on mine and the accuracy is everything I can ask for. Savage offers very nice workmanship and accuracy for any rifle in this price range. It's a great choice for target or short range varmint shooting, although on a calm day the range on this rifle is surprising once it's dialed in. It's a good choice for anyone looking for a nice rifle in 17 HMR with some money left over.

Never had a 17 hmr once I found the rim fire cartridge the rifle liked I am a happy camper Hittib RITZ cracker at 200 yds is so easy. Emerald pre mountain Speer 17 gr bullet dos the jog. All othe shoot well BUT Speer does much bettter
