The Savage Arms Axis II Camo is a right-hand bolt-action rifle chambered in .280 Ackley Improved. It combines a lightweight synthetic Mossy Oak Original Bottomland stock with a 22-inch barrel and a black applied finish. The rifle features Savage's AccuTrigger for a crisp, user-adjustable trigger pull, a two-position top tang manual safety, and a detachable four-round box magazine. A 20 MOA Picatinny base is installed for mounting a compatible riflescope or other optic. Factory standard models do not include iron sights or a threaded barrel.
