Its rear-locking-lug action uses a cock-on-close bolt and a barrel headspacing system adapted from Savage centerfire rifles. The rifle features a black synthetic stock and forearm with grip panels, hidden action screws, and a soft rubber buttpad. Its receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting.
