I have yet to fire thi rifle. From the bo, the action was balking but has smooth out. I believe it will get even faster/ smoother with use. Not my first Savage nor my last.

I'm loving Buds and...
I'm loving Buds and Savage rifles! Nobody local carried the Savage Impulse. A quick search online showed Buds had them in stock AND at the lowest price. The straight-pull action of the Impulse works awesome and is ambidextrous for us lefties. The Accufit stock adjusts to fit me perfectly and the adjustable Accutrigger is super nice. The barrel is threaded for a Suppressor or brake as all barrels should be these days. The only suggestion I would have for gun manufacturers these days would be to have all stocks (even traditional sporting style) drilled and tapped for attaching ARCA or Picatinny rails on the bottom that are very common for attaching bipods, tripods etc... The best part is that while all my Savage rifles are Sub-MOA this one is Sub 1/2 MOA which makes it the most accurate rifle I've ever owned. Thank you Savage for an outstanding ambidextrous and accurate rifle and Thank you Buds for giving me the best price around!
