A: Hey, Joe, two things, the other calibers almost always sell quicker than the 338 and Buds is sitting on a large stock of 338's. Once their numbers go down the prices will be more inline with the other calibers.

A: Hi Joe, The other calibers sell quick. It leaves the undesirable ones. Buds uses an automatic inventory price update engine that runs every 20mins. Prices are tied directly to stock levels and will change as stock numbers change. As inventory numbers go down, prices go up and vice-versa. Usually when popular items get low in stock.

A: Chad, the 23" medium-contour fluted barrel features Savage's patented on / off muzzle brake. You can turn the brake on and off by rotating it. That means you can open the ports on the rifle while shooting on the range, then turn off the brake by closing the ports while hunting.
